Let’s Break It Down In Steps
Step #1: Owning the Private Key
A private key is an alphanumeric string of characters which is tied to your public key used to derive your Litecoin address.
Seedkeys too are used in Hierarchical Deterministic wallets for deriving your public keys, private keys, and Litecoin address.
Therefore, private keys as well as seed keys will be the information that you are going to need first.

Step #2: Convert Private Key Into a QR Code
If you simply write down your private key and leave it in the plain sight, you are actually putting your LTC at risk of getting stolen effortlessly.
Therefore, it is important to convert both the private key and LTC address into QR code.
There are some steps to follow –
- Take LTC address from a wallet, you have with its corresponding private key and input them into a QR code generator.
- Use liteaddress.org to generate wallets. Keep wiggling your mouse unless your private key and public key are generated automatically.
- It’s time to buy a paper wallet from a paper wallet store.
Step #3: Print and Store the QR Code in a Safe Place
Print the QR codes of both your Private Key and Litecoin address.
Anytime you feel like sending LTC into this paper wallet, simply scan the QR code of the LTC address. But don’t do this using your Private Key.
The private key is what you need to recover and spend your LTC at the time you are all ready. So make sure to store it in a safe place where it is not visible to anyone.
