Bitcoin SV (BSV) has always been in controversy both for its project as well as for the involvement of Craig Wright. There are reports emerging for a sudden price surge in the BSV token that might have been the result of a piece of fake news circulating on Chinese social media for quite a while.
According to Dovey Wan, a founding partner of Primitive, the Tweet translates to –
“CSW transferred 50k BTC from the biggest BTC wallet to Binance, which confirmed he is the real Satoshi. As such CZ will re-list BSV and make an official apology on Twitter.”
Although it is very difficult to make a connection between events and corresponding rises in price, Dovey Wan says that the news could take some time to be realised as fake.
The trick is easy and constantly used by many scams – all chinese crypto media circulate the breaking news via picture as above in wechat, instead of news link. So anybody can just use the same theme template and photoshop one ☝🏻 like above

The price of BSV token has gone up over 90% in the last 24 hours. Binance, along with many other exchanges, recently delisted the BSV token after several insiders in the industry took ire with the actions of Craig Wright.
Craig Wright’s actions have incorporated suing individuals in the cryptocurrency space and, maybe most infamously, claiming that he is the creator of Bitcoin (BTC) pseudonymously known as Satoshi Nakamoto. Wright lodged a $55 copyright application in which he also made this claim, and the Copyright Office read that “it does not investigate the truth of any statement made.”
