A few days ago, we told you how Top Bosses Of The Crypto World Are Boycotting Bitcoin SV. Bitcoin Satoshi Visions’s claim that it was the real Bitcoin, did not sit too well with most of the top industry experts in crypto.
They fiercely advocated delisting of Bitcoin SV from major exchanges, and asked their Twitter followers, not to deal in the cryptocurrency. So is it really the end of the line for Bitcoin SV?
Just recently, one of the largest crypto exchanges in the world, Binance, decided to delist Bitcoin SV. No surprises there since Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao had already raised his voice in his condemnation of the alternative crypto project Bitcoin SV.
It looks like exchanges such as ShapeShift and Kraken are likely to follow suit. ShapeShift CEO Erik Voorhees recently revealed in a tweet that the company has decided to stop listing BSV:
Kraken has also released a poll asking its userbase whether or not they want to see the exchange drop the cryptocurrency from its listing. It looks like the community isn’t too happy about this decision. Some commentators have correlated the current decision to delist Bitcoin SV with PayPal’s past move of freezing WikiLeaks’ account, claiming that it was in violation of PayPal’s terms of service.
People in the industry did not take Craig Wright’s claims of being the actual Satoshi Nakamoto, too well. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, tweeted the following regarding Craig Wright.
“Craig Wright is not Satoshi. Anymore of this sh!t, we delist!,” CZ said.
Looks like he wasn’t kidding around when he made this statement, Binance as of today, has actually delisted Bitcoin SV. It looks like the journey is mostly going downhill for the crypto from here on. If this pattern of delisting continues, then it might just be the end of the line for the crypto.
