DOGE is unarguably one of the most loved and oldest altcoins in existence, but it did not have the recognition and legitimacy that it deserves. By being listed on Binance, it can finally claim to be in the same league as the other top altcoins.
Most users had been pleading endlessly with Binance for the coin to be listed on the exchange, and it seems like their prayers have finally been answered.
DogeCoin describes itself as “Dogecoin is an open source peer-to-peer digital currency, favored by Shiba Inus worldwide” and although it is more of a meme coin, it has surely amassed a huge fan following of Netizens that have been using the crypto now for a long time.
The coin almost has a cult following and it was about time that the top cryptocurrency exchanges listed the coin on their platform. To be fair, the reason that Binance had not listed DOGE even after repeated request from users is because the exchange did not see it as a real project. However, the Binance community has been after the exchange for months now, to list DOGE on the platform.
It will be interesting to witness how the coin performs now that it has been legitimately listed on the exchange.
